Renewal Information 2025


As Membership Manager for our Club, my aim through the renewals process is to make sure you have complete clarity in your renewal. I and my colleagues are on hand Monday to Saturday to support you. I have prepared the FAQ's below to help guide you, but if you need my assistance please don't hesitate to contact us.


Why has my Subscription increased?

We operate in an environment where the club is faced with increased costs across all areas, whilst historically operating at a loss. Price increases are inevitable to ensure the viability of    the Club as we strive to break even, however we have kept these to a minimum as we seek to pass on increased costs to visiting golfers.   


How do I Pay? 

  • By bank transfer

Send Payment to Hever Castle Golf Club Ltd. Quoting your NAME as reference

  • By card over the phone - call 01732 701004
  • In person in the Club Office or Pro-Shop


Direct Debit

Existing Members paying by Direct Debit need not act, your membership will renew unless you advise us in writing that your are resigning your membership. (membership@hevercastle.co.uk)

Annual payers looking to split their payment have the following 2 options;

Split Payment - 50% 1st May / 50% 1st September. There is no fee for this service. Please complete and return a direct debit mandate and make the initial half payment.

Monthly Payment -  Deposit of 1 month plus union fees & insurance. Balance over 11 months. Attracts a 5% fee. Please complete and return a direct debit mandate.

Are lockers available?

Mens lockers are available as follows;

Small £35 - Shoe Bag, Balls, Clothing etc. (no golf bags)

Medium £65 - Carry Bag, normal sized Cart Bag.

Large £100 - Tour Bag plus some trolleys

Please contact the club office to secure yours.


I am considering switching to a different category?

The membership renewal is the best time to apply for a new category, please email me at membership@hevercastle.co.uk where i'll provide you with a new quote and facilitate the move.


What will I receive after i've made my renewal payment? 

A renewal confirmation letter will be issued after the renewal is closed in mid-May including your wallet friendly Castle Passes and Guest Passes. Full 7 Day & 5 Day Members will now receive their annual pass for Hever Castle by email at the same time.


What beneficial booking rights do I receive as a member? 

You enjoy Members Only tee times on the Championship Course 8.00am - 10.00am Monday > Friday.  8.00am to 12.00 midday weekends & bank holidays.

Outside of Members Only times, all members enjoy a priority booking window, Members 12 Days > Visitors 10 Day.

All members with handicaps can enter Club Competitions with access for Trophy/Board Competitions restricted to full members.  


What are Union Fee's? 

All Members of a Golf Club in England are required to pay a fee to both the England Golf Union & their County Golf Union (Kent). This goes towards developing the grass roots game and supporting county & national teams.


Didn't we used to pay extra for insurance?

All Members and indeed vistors have to be insured whilst playing at Hever to offer a safe environment for play. This is now included withing your England Golf Union Fee's. Details of     cover can be found here.       


What does Complimentary Juniors mean? 

A benefit of full 7 and 5 Day Membership is the offer of 2 complimentary junior memberships for Children or Grandchildren. To add juniors to your membership please request an    application form from the Club Office. You will be required to pay only Golf Union Fees.
